Existing boulder/flagstone steps installed by another contractor were unstable. The rise for the stairs made for an awkward climb. Resetting the stones made for a more visually pleasing wall and walk, safe climbing and an easily accessible stairway.
Reeders - Mr. A 08
New construction. Foundation planting by homeowner. We buried the downspouts and installed a paver walkway. Choice of color by homeowner. Topsoil was stripped and yard was regraded. Newly graded yard was seeded for lawn.
Glenbrook - Mr. C.
Stagnant standing water detracted from the homeowner’s enjoyment of his existing pond. Hand picked boulders and field stone were selected to create a waterfall. The natural design of the waterfall enhanced the pond setting and resolved the issue of the standing water.
Lake In The Clouds - Mr. W 07
Install downspout drains to keep water away from house. The work included a concrete paver walkway. Decorative stone was incorporated. There had been an erosion problem from the stream on the side of the home. A rip rap swale prevents further erosion and we were able to reclaim the area along the house.
Canadensis - Mr. Mo. Lakeside home
Restorative pruning of overgrown landscape really freshened the curb appeal of this home. We installed an electric fence to deter the deer in a way that did not detract from the landscape.
Marshalls Creek - Mr. M. Lakeside home
Existing home, recently purchased by new homeowner. We installed down spouts and drains, rebuilt an existing walkway and steps. A boulder wall supports the new patterned flagstone terrace. Steps leading from the patio to the dock were constructed for easy access. New landscape plantings completed the transformation.
South Stroudsburg - Mrs. L.
Existing landscape ties had been installed by another contractor. Low grade materials did not withstand time and elements. We removed the crumbling ties, and redesigned the stairs and walkway.

New construction. Installation of paver walkway, balance of landscape to be completed by homeowner.
Bartonsville - Mr. E,
The customer wanted to extend the lawn area. The work involved removal of existing trees, stump removal and grading to prepare for lawn installation. The area was spread with topsoil and seeded.
Effort - Mr. K.
New construction, home was built into a sheer hillside. The customer desired a back yard for family play and entertaining. Dramatic excavation of hillside, hauling material off site. Grading to complete yard area allowed ample space to enjoy the rear yard.
Shawnee - Commercial
Construct stone columns and install privacy wall and terrace at poolside. We buried existing downspouts, and installed drainage to reduce water accumulation on terrace.
Stroud Township - Mr. P
We installed a new lawn on the side of home, following construction of a certified boulder retaining wall. We also constructed a new patio with drains to direct water away from house. Construction of a natural stone stairway, and a Landscape block retaining wall.
The home was built adjacent to a steep slope. We built a landscape block wall to retain the bank, and created a terraced series of landings with steps.
Stage 2 will include a rear project involving an extensive permitting process in order to construct a boulder wall.
Swiftwater - Mr. L - 2007
Customer requested expanded parking area for boat storage, and guest parking. Down Spouts are buried to take water away from house and broken flag stone is used to make walks. Existing work was done by Farda in previous years.

New Construction. We bury downspouts, Regrade lawn area.

Saylorsburg - Mr. R. 06
The home was built into a steep bank. Drainage issues washing out existing patio. The bank was excavated to enlarge the patio. We installed a landscape block wall with drainage at the top and behind the wall. Decoratice stone dressed the top of the wall.
Stroudsburg - Mr. F
New construction built into an extremely steep sand bank. We constructed an extensive boulder wall with rip/rap to stabilize the bank. We moved fill excavated from the rear to build the front yard.
Tannersville - Mr. K
Issues that were addressed included grading to drain water away from the house. Drains were installed along the front walk to keep water from accumulating. Drains were installed on side yard walk to drain water accumulating from the roadway. The front hill was mounded and a rip rap swale was constructed to control water run off.
Deer resistant plantings were a challenge and the choices have been a success. Boulders were used to raise grades and retain soil in planted areas.

Stroudsburg - Ms. C
This home is located on a very small in town lot. The homeowner wanted to enlarge the existing screen porch, with a broken flag (set with concrete) patio. A new pattern flagstone patio was also installed for barbecuing.
Albrightsville - Mr C.
New construction. We buried downspouts, regraded yard area, and installed a new walk and patios. The homeowner wanted a maintenance free yard, their choice was to have decorative stone for the yard area. Landscape plants completed the project.
Analomink - Mr. Li
The original homeowner had an excavator to do the grading. The result was steep drop off at the end of the lawn. We regraded and designed a walkway to follow the gentle slope from the driveway to the front entrance. A circular drive was installed. We constructed a stone patio off the rear basement walkout, installed a lawn and a new deck from the front porch to the rear sliders.
Bartonsville - Mr. D
Previous contractor installed a concrete retaining wall which failed. We removed the concrete wall and replaced it with landscape block wall with steps. The job also entailed a front walkway, foundation planting, new lawn, and downspout installation.
Shawnee Residence
New construction- We installed a walkway, foundation planting, downspouts, and a walkway to rear deck. Perennial beds were created.
Pocono Mountain - Mr. La
New construction: the builder excavated the bank just enough to construct the house and rough graded. We built the wall to hold the bank and reset the front boulders. The grade was raised, and regraded to drain the water runoff from the house. We installed walkways, constructed a driveway and planted the new landscape.
Stroudsburg - Mr. M
Renovation of an overgrown existing landscape. We installed a landscape block border with caps. Existing planting material was repurposed as much as possible.
Mr. Cf Ranch lands 06
The homeowner had recently installed a pool and patio, and the adjacent hill was eroding. An additional challenge was soil coming right to the fence at a height of 6 ft. We used this soil to backfill the wall. The resulting walls supported all of our heavy equipment during the construction process.
Stroudsburg - Mrs. P
Removed existing overgrown plant material. We replanted creating a perennial garden. The renovation revealed an existing walkway which had been obscured by the overgrown plants. The walkway was reset and restored.
Stroudsburg - Mr. L 08
Homeowners were renovating a cottage located in the rear yard. A parking area was created, maintaining an existing stone foundation. A natural appearance was desirable for the property, so a choice of boulders for the wall was appropriate. The parking area was filled in and covered with stone.
East Stroudsburg - Mr. E
The homeowner wanted to achieve a low maintenance landscape in the front yard. Landscape block was used to define the yard area from the culvert area. Stone and landscape lighting were used in the fron landscape. In the rear we proposed that the existing deck railing be removed and install steps to create a welcoming flow from the deck to the new patio. We resolved drainage issues by installing a wall outside the patio, and installing downspouts from gutters.
East Stroudsburg - Mr. Mo
The goal was to construct a curved front walkway, addressing drainage issues and renovate existing stone walls. We also created stepping stone pathways, installed a new lawn, and installed French drain and downspout systems.
